中国欧盟商会主席彦辞与商务部副部长凌激举行闭门会，会后参加欧洲企业圆桌会

On 21st January 2025, European Chamber President Jens Eskelund had a one-to-one closed-door meeting with Vice Minister Ling Ji of the Ministry of Commerce. This is the second time that President Eskelund has met with Vice Minister Ling in the past year.

2025年1月21日，中国欧盟商会主席彦辞与商务部副部长兼国际贸易谈判副代表凌激进行了闭门会谈。这是过去一年中，彦辞主席第二次拜会凌激副部长。

They discussed some of the key macro level issues affecting Europe-China business relations—including China’s visa-free policy, domestic consumption and procurement—and several specific issues that are impacting the operations of European Chamber member companies.

他们讨论了影响中欧经贸关系的一些宏观层面的关键问题，包括中国的免签政策、内需和采购，以及影响中国欧盟商会会员企业运营的一些具体问题。

After the closed-door meeting, President Eskelund and 77 European Chamber member companies attended MOFCOM’s Roundtable for European Enterprises, its first regular roundtable for foreign-invested enterprises (FIEs) of 2025, hosted by Vice Minister Ling. This is the first time that MOFCOM has cooperated with a single chamber of commerce to host such a roundtable.

闭门会谈结束后，彦辞主席和77家中国欧盟商会会员企业出席了由凌激副部长主持的商务部欧洲企业圆桌会——2025年首场外资企业圆桌会。此次圆桌会是商务部首次与单个商会合作举办此类圆桌会。

Vice Minister Ling noted that 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of China-Europe diplomatic relations and the European Chamber’s 25th anniversary. He stated his hope to see more bilateral exchanges between European and Chinese entrepreneurs to strengthen cooperation this year. He highlighted the openness of the Chinese market and the continued efforts to boost domestic consumption. He also called on enterprises from both sides to create a promising future in economic and trade relations.

凌激副部长提到，2025年是中欧建交50周年，也是中国欧盟商会成立25周年。他希望今年中欧企业家之间能有更多的双边交流，以加强双边合作。他强调了中国市场的开放性和为促进内需所做的持续努力。他还呼吁双方企业共创经贸关系的美好未来。

In 2024, Chamber representatives participated in four MOFCOM FIE roundtables, in February, May, July and November. At the first MOFCOM FIE roundtable last year, President Eskelund had been invited to be the first speaker representing industry.

中国欧盟商会代表分别于2024年2月、5月、7月和11月参加了四次商务部专场外资企业圆桌会。其中在2月的首场外资企业圆桌会议上，彦辞主席应邀作为首位发言的行业代表。
